Usual wear and tear and the acids found in foods like fruits can cause cavities and tooth decay, regardless of the constant brushing and flossing.

The following natural remedies are going to help you keep your dental hygiene in control.

  1. Use of Salt, Clove Oil, Coconut Oil and Turmeric


  • Coconut oil- ¼ teaspoon
  • Turmeric- ¼ teaspoon
  • Clove oil- 2 drops
  • Salt- a pinch


  • In a bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix them well.
  • Put some of the mixture on the toothbrush and gently brush the teeth, focusing on the areas with cavities as much as possible.
  • Leave it work for 5 minutes, and then brush it again.
  • In the end, use lukewarm water to rinse your teeth.
  1. Use Peppermint Essential Oil, Dried Mint Powder, Lemon Juice and Baking Soda


  • Peppermint Essential Oil- 1 drop
  • Baking Soda- ½ teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice- 2 drops
  • Dried Mint Powder- ¼ teaspoons (optional)


  • Take a bowl and mix all of the ingredients well.
  • Take a toothbrush, apply some of the mixture on it and brush all of the areas in a gentle manner.
  • Leave it for 3 minutes so it can work.
  • Finally, use slightly warm water to rinse.
  1. Use Bentonite Clay Powder (Food Grade), Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Activated Charcoal, Licorice Root Powder

Use this once a week.

  • Activated Charcoal- ½ teaspoon
  • Licorice Root Powder- ¼ teaspoon
  • Orange Essential Oil- 1 drop
  • Bentonite Clay Powder(Food Grade)- a pinch


  • Take a bowl and mix all of the ingredients well.
  • With a toothbrush, take from the mixture and gently brush the teeth.
  • Leave it for 3 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Following the rinsing, use your toothbrush to brush the teeth again. Use lukewarm water and rinse.
